About: Creating art is my passion. I’ve been creating art in one form or another since I was a young girl. I’ve been painting for the last 25 years, working primarily in pastel and watercolor. I’ve exhibited throughout NH and in Newburyport Mass. I studied at the NH Art Institute, Notre Dame College and UNH. I studied for five years with local artist Sheila Psaledas and have participated in numerous workshops with other local artists as well.

I use color as an expressive element to convey my understanding and appreciation of nature and everything around us. I enjoy painting landscapes where color and the pattern of light create interesting compositions. Most of my work is done in the studio using my photographic references and on site sketches. However, plein air painting is most inspiring for me, where my rural surroundings and the beauty of nature forever provide me with creative ideas.
